On 17 October at 12:00, Narva Keskraamatukogu invites you to the next meeting of Dialoogiring SKAMEIKA. This time, our theme is “Connecting Generations”.

What makes different generations different? Do younger and older people really see the world in completely different ways? What stereotypes do we have about one another? And most importantly, what brings us together and what can we learn from each other?

During the meeting, we will explore the characteristics and experiences of different generations and compare how education, work, communication, leisure and technology have changed over time. We will also discuss common stereotypes and try to see familiar things from the perspective of another generation.

We will pay special attention to Narva. Together, we will discuss where and how different generations meet in our city, what already brings people of different ages together, and what new activities or initiatives could help strengthen these connections.

The meeting will take the form of an open dialogue combined with activities in small groups. Every participant’s personal experience matters, and our aim is to create a welcoming space where people can listen to one another and exchange ideas with openness and respect.

We warmly welcome participants of all ages! Come with your children or grandchildren, parents or grandparents. The more generations we bring together around one table, the richer and more interesting our conversation will be.
